Insulation Installation

Insulation

Proper insulation is key to increasing energy efficiency and comfort in any building. By partnering with the Energy Trust of Oregon, we help homeowners and businesses take advantage of incentives that make insulation upgrades more affordable and impactful. Our services cover all critical areas: attics, walls, and crawlspaces, ensuring that your space is not only well-insulated but also meets the standards required to qualify for these financial benefits.

Our insulation solutions are designed to minimize heat loss in the winter and keep interiors cool in the summer, significantly reducing energy costs. We use the latest materials and techniques to fill gaps and enhance existing insulation, preventing energy from escaping and ensuring your heating and cooling systems work more efficiently. This not only saves money but also extends the lifespan of your HVAC equipment by reducing its workload.

Whether you're looking to upgrade your attic insulation to reduce heat loss, insulate walls to buffer against external temperature changes, or secure crawlspaces to prevent moisture and air infiltration, our expert team provides comprehensive assessments and tailored solutions. By improving your building's insulation, you contribute to a more sustainable environment and enjoy lower energy bills.

Blown-In Insulation

Blown insulation, often made from fiberglass or cellulose, is ideal for covering uneven areas and filling hard-to-reach spaces. It's applied using a special hose that blows the insulation into place, creating a tight seal that enhances energy efficiency. This method is particularly effective for attics and existing walls because it can be installed without removing wall finishes, offering a non-invasive way to upgrade insulation. Blown insulation is known for its excellent thermal performance and ability to reduce sound transmission.

Batt Insulation

Batt insulation, commonly composed of fiberglass or mineral wool, comes in pre-cut panels that fit snugly between the studs and joists in walls and floors. It's one of the most commonly used forms of insulation due to its simplicity in installation and its cost-effectiveness. Batts are ideal for areas with regular spacing, particularly in new construction or where drywall has not yet been installed. They provide good thermal resistance and are available with or without a vapor barrier, depending on the needs of the project.

Spray Foam

Spray foam insulation involves applying a liquid foam that expands and hardens into an airtight seal. It comes in two types: open-cell and closed-cell, with closed-cell providing greater moisture resistance and a higher R-value. This method is used for a variety of applications, including gaps, cracks, and around plumbing fixtures. It offers excellent air and moisture barriers and can significantly improve a building's energy performance.
